Sometimes you must believe.
Other times we must all grieve.
While we await the aftermath,
may we not act out in wrath.
From the moment we were in a crib
we were told too many fibs.
Life can be filled with glitter,
but often we just flitter.
Humanity can be so barbarous.
Our work is often arduous.
May you often become elated
without your ego getting inflated.
“I don’t wish to serve on this board!”
the exhausted circus clown roared.
“I am here to inspire and motivate
not just listen to y’all bloviate.”
If you find yourself staring at a kitten,
know you’ll soon be smitten.
Not everything is a secret trap.
Sometimes you just need a nap.
