Choose to Be When's the last time you rose to your feet, swept up by excitement over someone sweet? Can you recall the crescendo of the seas that once brought you right down to your knees? Do you remember feeling so wonderfully free upon ascending majestic towering trees? Have they walled you in with the concrete, so your life shall remain so orderly and neat? When last did you wander unfamiliar streets, truly curious about everyone you'll meet? Arise! Arise from your well-worn seat, and follow the drumming of your heartbeat! There awaits a fabulous world for you to see with a new evolution of who you shall be, each and every day, be you one or ninety, if only, if only, you will choose to be thee!
This is a throwback poem from a previously published book. I’ll be posting throwbacks every Wednesday.
