A Starry Night The joy of merely being here, here, here, drinking beer, drinking in the atmosphere. The people were dancing with abandon under floating flags featuring faces of revolutionaries, as the band rocked, "Revolution." As we sang along to Lennon's lyrical dance of "out, in," still a reflection of the times we're within, our minds were dancing alongside of him, seeking wisdom.
This is a throwback poem from a previously published book. I’ll be posting throwbacks every Wednesday.
Inspired by seeing my friend’s Beatles cover band at the Starry Plough in Berkeley.
